ERDERA announces its 2026 Open Session

As ERDERA marks the end of its second year, the consortium will gather in Coimbra, Portugal, for its third General Assembly Meeting to explore progress, exchange perspectives and shape the work ahead. As part of the event, ERDERA will once again open its doors to a wider audience through the ERDERA Open Session, which will be broadcast live online on 21 October 2026 from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm CEST.

This year’s session will focus on ultra-rare diseases and the innovative approaches needed to advance research and treatment when very few, or even individual, people are affected. Through inspiring research and patient stories, the session will explore methodological and regulatory innovation, including new approaches to clinical studies.

The discussion will also consider how ERDERA’s N-of-1 and N-of-2 approaches can contribute to this evolving field. By working hand in hand with researchers and patients, ERDERA aims to help translate new ideas and approaches into meaningful improvements in the lives of people living with rare diseases.
