What ethics issues can be raised, and how can resolving them become an advantage?
This webinar will explore the ethics issues most encountered in advanced therapy medicinal product (ATMP) research. It will examine the role of ethics in helping ensure that research and its products comply with regulatory requirements and in supporting a smooth clinical translation.
Particular focus will be placed on issues of special importance in rare diseases, such as research involving children and the human genome, both of which are central to ATMP research.
The session will also look at how ethics can balance the influence of different stakeholders and bring the work of researchers and regulators together in the service of patients.
