Some of the training and resources presented are developed or endorsed by ERDERA, while others are provided by external organisations and are not ERDERA training. By supporting skills development, encouraging collaboration, and facilitating knowledge exchange, ERDERA helps connect people and expertise across the rare disease research community.

Statistical Methodology for Very Small (and Very Large) Studies
This course explores statistical and methodological approaches that remain robust whether studies are very small, as in many rare diseases, or very large. It highlights techniques that ensure reliable estimates in small samples and computational efficiency in large datasets. Special attention is given to the use of surrogate markers and the persistent challenges posed by incomplete data. The emphasis is on conceptual understanding and practical examples rather than mathematical detail.
