The webinar is intended for potential applicants to ERDERA’s 2027 Joint Transnational Call, “Catalysing Collaborative Research for Recently Identified Rare Diseases”. The call aims to support multinational, interdisciplinary collaborations addressing recently identified rare diseases that remain scientifically underserved.
Its focus is on generating the foundational knowledge needed for future therapeutic development, through natural history studies and patient registries, biomarker research, relevant disease models and investigation of disease mechanisms.
Consortia are expected to actively involve patient partners from the preparation of their proposals. Funding eligibility is subject to national and regional requirements, and applications will follow a two-stage procedure, with pre-proposals due on 1 February 2027 and full proposals on 24 June 2027.
